The CoolSculpting® Treatment process

As the cooling begins during the first few minutes you typically feel intense cold. This should soon subside as the treated area numbs. With some applicators, you’ll feel some pulling as suction is applied.

After the treatment, you may feel some tingling. The area is then massaged for approximately 2 minutes to break up the crystallised fat cells. Patients are usually able to return to normal activities following their appointment.

What to Expect has more information about what happens before, during, and after your CoolSculpting® procedure.

During your initial consultation, your medical practitioner will ask about your medical history to establish if CoolSculpting® could be right for you. It's important to tell them if you have any past or present medical conditions, diseases including auto-immune, planning or already pregnant, etc., as you may not be able to have the CoolSculpting® procedure if you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions.

You can discuss with your CoolSculpting® clinic about creating a customised treatment plan that's tailored to your body and your individual goals.

The length of your CoolSculpting® treatment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. The latest technology of CoolSculpting® can treat a patient within 35-75 minutes depending on the applicators used. If you have limited time but have several areas of unwanted fat, some clinics may even have multiple CoolSculpting® systems. The medical practitioner will explain the process and establish if this is a suitable option for you. You and your medical practitioner may also schedule additional treatments or office visits in order to meet your goals.

THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. COOLSCULPTING® IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS PROCEDURE. IT DOES NOT REPLACE A HEALTHY DIET AND ACTIVE LIFESTYLE.
